Beskrivning av projektet
The CICAT2025 accelerates Finland’s strategic aim to become the globally leading circular economy (CE) by 2025. CICAT2025 aims to facilitate the transition from CE innovation ecosystem to CE business ecosystems. We examine technological, business, regulative and cultural CE catalysts and develop integrative knowledge of how they boost CE business ecosystems development. The multidisciplinary CICAT2025 consortium combines contributions from technology (TUT), business (UTU, UTA, JYU, UEF, TUT), politics (UTA), art (TAMK), linguistics (UTU), law (UEF) and stakeholder interaction (TUAS). It focuses on four CE ecosystem types (industry, emerging technology, regional, hub-firm centric). As outcomes, CICAT2025 generates scientific contributions and pragmatic tools on how diverse catalysts advance CE in ecosystems, and societal impact via educating CE experts and supporting CE change-makers. CICAT2025 is organized via six WPs. CICAT2025 spans 2018-2023, with a budget of 5,95M€.
