Beskrivning av projektet
On the one hand current networks are reactive and geared towards throughput maximization overlooking latency, reliability or scalability. On the other hand, resource management has mainly focused on centralized-managed homogeneous networks, which are not applicable to future large-scale heterogeneous networks. The primary objective of this project is to develop a holistic framework that harnesses context information in conjunction with recent advances in storage and edge/fog computing to lay down the theoretical and algorithmic foundations of massive, low-latency and proactive wireless networks, yielding order-of-magnitude improvements compared to current networks.
