Project description
Instrumental analytical techniques have become increasingly important in providing information about chemical, physical, biological, toxicological, and environmental phenomena and interactions, and it is well-recognized that nano- and microsystems and miniaturized instrumental techniques are key technologies for future progress in biochemistry, biotechnology, and medicine. In this project immunosorbent monolithic materials among others are integrated with miniaturized instrumental methods and these tailor-made systems allow the isolation and purification of challenging biomacromolecules resulting in their exploitation in further clinical and medical studies. Methodological, theoretical, chemical and technical approaches play important role, and active national and international multi- and interdisciplinary co-operation guarantees a high-standard scientific expertise.
