The project studies theory of multiplicative chaos, vectorial calculus of variations, holomorphic deformations and random geometry. The obtained results alsohave applications to nonlinear elasticity, analytic number theory and Liouville quantum gravity. In addition, we study Markov Chain Monte Carlo methods that are applied e.g. in models of climate.
The reseach is based on intensive international and domestic collaboration with leadings reaserchers of the field. Doctoral training and international research mobility are enhanced, in particular via the postdocs irecruited and the intensive courses given by visiting international experts.
