Project description
The project considered common optimization problems appearing in Telecommunication Systems and Data Analysis. We developed several new mathematical (separable) formulations for these problems, as well as, we developed new effective algorithms for their solution. The solution methods were based on constrained convex optimization theory and dual approach. We presented the achieved results in 14 international articles and in 11 international conferences. The results are applicable in 5G/6G telecom research, when equilibrating and optimizing wireless networks. The suggested decomposition methods proved to be suitable for solution of various data classification problems, including signal, speech and image recognition and processing ones. This research was carried out in cooperation with University of Oulu, unit of mathematical sciences and Kazan Federal University, Department of System Analysis and Information Technologies.
