Project description
We present new approaches for the programmable production of optically and magnetically active, multi-component and organized nanoscale "sets". Developed methods and approaches are applicable to the programmable compilation of a variety of nanostructures. One goal is to significantly increase magneto-plasmonic phenomena by using protein-based assays and combining both ferromagnetic materials and metals in two and three dimensions. Another biomolecular template in the project is native cellular nanocrystals and their supramolecular transformations. The third main objective is to expand the concept of magnetic plasmons with new material choices. The project is based on the special expertise in physics, chemistry, nanoscience and biomaterials. It combines optics, magnetism, self-assay and soft materials research as well as high-resolution microscopy. PAIVI more here if needed.
