Beskrivning av projektet
The aims of this study were to investigate: 1) the long-term development of job-related well-being; 2) the associations between working conditions and personality with job-related well-being; and 3) job-related well-being in teamwork. The research was based on four pre-existing longitudinal datasets and two new datasets, which were collected from team-structured organizations. The research yielded new information on job-related well-being by analyzing it at a day-to-day level as well as across the work career. The results show that a person-centered approach is more successful in explaining the links within and between personality, proactive behavior and job-related well-being than a variable-centered approach. The main results demonstrated that: 1) work engagement and burnout were the opposite states of well-being; 2) a resilient personality profile and job crafting turned out to be significant facilitators of work engagement.
