Project description
Components and circuits have been developed for high speed optoelectronics. Examples of the research work are high speed and high energy laser diodes, CMOS single photon detectors, high speed optical receivers, breakdown mechanisms in transistors and accurate time interval measurement techniques and circuits. Results are applied to laser ranging (solid state flash-mode 2D/3-D imagers), fluorescence free Raman spectroscopy and time-domain THz imaging.
